About Mark Asher Goodman

Mark Asher Goodman has written for SB Nation's Burgundy Wave and Last Word on Soccer, and co-hosts the Rapids podcast 'Holding the Highline' with Matt Pollard.

When he's not reading, writing, watching, or coaching soccer, he's a rabbi at a small pulpit in Erie, PA and a stay-at-home dad.

His proudest soccer accomplishment was suggesting the Rapids go get Jermaine Jones, and then seeing them actually do it. He also makes a mean tamale pie.

If you like Mark's work, you can thank him by buying him a beer through Patreon. That'd be swell.
